I was born and raised in rural Nevada on an alfalfa farm, growing up in a Spanish-speaking household.
I attended Truckee Meadows Community College in Reno, NV, where I obtained my Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene, and later earned my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene with an emphasis in Education from the College of Southern Nevada.

I have been an active member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, serving at both local and state levels. I am also proud to volunteer with Los Médicos Voladores (The Flying Doctors), an organization that provides dental services to underserved communities.

In addition to working as a clinical dental hygienist, I am a national instructor for dental laser certification. When I’m not working, you can find me traveling the world and spending time with my pets, friends, and family.
